Our shoe lifts are not intended for all shoes. In order for our lifts to work for you, you must use shoes with enough room to accommodate the insole. This is why we generally recommend wearing high ankle support shoes or boots; though for insoles with minimal added height (like the bottom two half-inch layers of our triple-layer shoe lift), you can use shoes with lower profiles.
If you are using a multi-layer insole, you can remove layers to create more room for your foot if needed. If you don’t have enough room for your foot even with a single layer, you may not have loosened the laces enough or you may be using shoes that are too small. Some lift wearers purchase shoes a half to full size up from their normal shoe size to guarantee additional space for their feet.

Our insoles were designed with comfort in mind. The orthopedic design starts with a compression air bubble to absorb the impact as you walk while the heel cup conforms nicely to the sole of your foot. A raised pattern toward the front of the insole creates friction to prevent sliding during walking, and the fabric lining the top allows a comfortable resting place for your foot. As an added benefit, our insoles don't just increase height but also provide extra comfort in shoes with minimal support.

Everyone is different. If you have trouble quickly adjusting to added height and are using a multi-layer insole, it’s best to start with the first layer and add the others over time. This allows your body to become gradually accustomed to the difference, helping you avoid potential foot and back pain. That said, if girls can do it on a spindly stiletto heel boosting four inches of height, you’ll probably be fine with even our two-plus inch shoe inserts!
When you take off your shoes, people might notice something has changed about you. However, you also want to consider what we like to call the "use case." If you're buying these height increasing insoles to feel more confident in the workplace, is it likely you'll ever be walking around your esteemed colleagues or boss wearing socks? Probably not. The other use case might be dating related. Well hey, if you're already sporting socks with what we'd like to think is your soon-to-be girlfriend (or boy-friend), you can probably forget about needing a confidence boost. You're already there.
Our insoles generally last about six months with regular everyday use. After six months, you may start to notice some wear and tear, including loss of height due to continuous compression. We recommend replacing your insoles every six months. You can also buy multiple pairs to spread out usage among shoes, allowing other pairs to decompress while one pair is in use. This can help increase the longevity of all your insoles.
We recommend that you do not attempt to wear height insoles during exercise or sports, as it could cause ankle injury. Due to the difference in elevation, when moving too quickly (e.g., running, jumping, etc.) your ankle may twist suddenly, resulting in pain or injury. Our shoe lifts are intended for casual wear only (e.g., regular walking pace, standing, sitting).

We ship worldwide with a few exceptions. To cancel your order before it has shipped, simply contact us by email, phone, or chat, and a member of our team will process your request. Items ordered before 11 a.m. Pacific time on a business day are shipped out the same day; items ordered after 11 a.m. Pacific time are shipped out the following business day. Delivery dates depend on the time of day you ordered, your selected shipping preferences, and your mailing address. Orders placed before 11 a.m. Pacific time on business days will ship out the same day. Orders placed after 11 a.m. Pacific time will ship out the next business day. For most orders we offer the following shipping preferences: 1) Standard Shipping (4-6 days across the U.S., 6-10 days for international orders); 2) Expedited Shipping (3-day delivery); and 3) Priority Shipping (1-2 days). If for any reason our shoe lifts are not to your complete satisfaction, you can return them (no questions asked) within 60 days from the time you received your order for a full refund. Please note returned items must be in new to lightly worn condition. We even offer 100% free returns across the domestic U.S., meaning that we cover the cost of return shipping.
